Colours, Moods and Feelings

This is my mood board for different emotions that I think magazines portray to their target audience, and for my magazine I want it to have a happy feel to it!

Considering what colours to use I think is very important to having a successful magazine, when you select certain colours you give off that emotion slightly to the target audience. I would like my magazine to have a calm, relaxed, yet fun feel to it. 

I wanted to use the primary colours for my magazine, because I am trying to make the magazine for all ages and I want it to be eye catching, so I think bright and very different colours would catch the eye. 

I am going to be traditional with my magazine colours, and I'm going to use the original Idsall School colours to keep the tradition alive, and I want to be representing Idsall, considering it's a Idsall School Magazine.
