Starting my music front cover

I have taken the 'almost finished' masthead and I am editing it to make it look better and stand out more,  for example:

The masthead doesn't look as powerful and as bold as it should, so I am going to change on the application Fireworks. This application allows me to edit photographs according to what I want, however I am slightly nervous about using the application considering I have never used it before.

Firstly, I open the saved the 'jpg' file in Fireworks, and start to edit the colour in the mast head

With the 800% in effect.

By doing this, I change the Zoom Level, making it easier for myself to see the close up mega pixels. I change the percentage to 800% making the mega pixels look massive.

I then begin to edit the colour and the mega pixels, to make the masthead look finer and more professional.
